1. Payment Terms

​

For bookings by companies based in Germany, invoicing takes place at the time of image delivery. Payment is due within 14 days.

For bookings by companies based outside Germany, full prepayment is required. The invoice will be issued immediately upon confirmation of the booking.

In the event of late payment, we reserve the right to charge default interest in accordance with § 288 of the German Civil Code (BGB) and a reminder

fee of €5 per notice.

2. Cancellation Policy

​

A booking is considered binding once our offer is reconfirmed by the client. In case of cancellation by the client, we reserve the right to claim compensation for loss in accordance with § 649 BGB. This corresponds to the agreed fee, minus any expenses saved.

If the originally booked date is reassigned to a third party, we may waive the cancellation fee in part or in full, depending on the extent of the replacement booking.

3. Image Delivery and Editing

The number of images delivered varies depending on the duration, schedule, and dynamics of the assignment. In any case, clients receive a curated selection of the best photographs.

All images undergo basic post-processing (e.g. white balance, exposure, contrast, clarity, structure, lens corrections, etc.).

Advanced color grading is not included in the standard package but can be booked as an optional extra.

RAW files or unedited material will not be provided under any circumstances.

4. Usage Rights

Friedl Photography grants the client and all affiliated companies a non-exclusive, unlimited right to use the delivered photographs. Usage is permitted across all current and future media formats, including but not limited to:

Print (e.g. flyers, brochures, business cards)

Online platforms (websites, social media, apps)

Presentations, trade fairs, seminars, and comparable business contexts

Exclusive usage rights or commercial use by third parties are not included.

If you require exclusive usage rights or intend to use the material for third-party commercial purposes (e.g. by partner companies, agencies, franchisors, or external service providers), please contact us. We will be happy to provide a separate licensing agreement for an additional fee.

Photographer Credit:

When using the images on your own corporate channels and media (e.g. website, social media, print materials), crediting the photographer is not mandatory but appreciated, e.g. “Photo: Friedl Photography” or with a link to friedl-eventfoto.de.

However, if the images are shared with the press, editorial teams, or for use in external publications, a proper credit is required:

5. Liability / GDPR Notice

​

Obtaining any necessary consents under the GDPR for capturing and using image material is the sole responsibility of the client. Friedl Photography assumes no legal liability in this regard.

By accepting the offer, the client confirms that they have obtained consent from all individuals concerned prior to the shoot.

Image delivery is handled via a common file transfer service (e.g. WeTransfer). On request, we can provide non-binding sample text templates but do not offer legal advice or assume liability.

Image files are generally stored for up to two years for organizational reasons. Early deletion is possible upon request at any time.

6. Jurisdiction and Severability Clause

Place of jurisdiction is Munich, Germany.

Should any provision of these terms and conditions be wholly or partially invalid, the validity of the remaining provisions shall not be affected. Any invalid provision shall be replaced by the relevant statutory regulation.
